Due to the continuous growth in the number of electric vehicles and the increasing share of green trips during the holiday season, the National Energy Administration instructed various regions to refine and improve charging plans in advance. It organized relevant parties to utilize information platforms to enhance monitoring, ensure emergency allocation, and effectively guarantee charging needs for massive electric vehicle trips during this year's National Day celebration. According to statistical analysis of 62,700 charging devices (guns) on highways included in the national charging device monitoring platform, from 00:00 on October 1 to 24:00 on October 7, the total charging instances for electric vehicles on China's highways reached 6.711 million, with a charging capacity totaling 163 million kilowatt-hours. The average daily charging volume was 23.2566 million kilowatt-hours, representing a 51.42% increase compared to the daily charging levels from last year.

The National Energy Administration will continue to work with relevant parties to fully implement the deployment requirements set by the Central Party Committee and the State Council. It aims to further promote the construction of charging stations in service areas along highways and ensure reliable and stable charging services for the public to enjoy green, convenient, and safe holiday trips.
